What are the departure times and return times?
Departure time from Queenstown depends on your accommodation but it will be between 7:05am and 7:30am. Return times to Queenstown is around 8pm by coach and 5:15pm by plane (weather permitting). Departure time from Te Anau is 10:00am and return time is about 5:45pm.

How much time in advance do we need to book the tour?
Provided seats are available, bookings can be made right up until departure. However as we are often very busy, we would recommend booking as soon as you have planned your itinerary.

Can we change the tour date?
Tour date can be altered provided there are seats available, without any extra fees. However if there are no seats available on the alternative date and you have to cancel, then cancellation fees may apply.

When do we pay?
Although we take your credit card details to confirm bookings, we do not process payment until the day of travel. Payments are usually taken in Te Anau between 9:30am and 10:00am in the bus.

How do we pay?
By Master card, Visa card and New Zealand cash. We do not have EFTPOS facilities. If paying by cash, the correct amount is appreciated as we do not carry change.

Can we pay using a different credit card than that which was used to confirm the booking?
Yes, as long as it is a Visa or Master card, you can use a different card. 

Which accommodation outlets do you pick up from?
We pick up from most accommodation outlets in the immediate Queenstown area. Pick up arrangement will be confirmed when booking is made. In Te Anau, we pick up from the “Pop Inn Cafe” at 10:00am.

Where is the “Pop Inn Cafe” located?
“Pop Inn Cafe” is 92 Te Anau Lake Front Terrace, it is opposite the Real Journeys and iSITE visitor centres on the lakefront.

What meats are included in the BBQ lunch?
We have beef shish kebabs with Chinese honey marinade and beef sausages that also include a percentage of pork and mutton.

If we do not wish to eat beef or sausages, what options are there?
We have gluten free vegetarian burger patties available. You can let us know when you make a booking and speak to the driver on the day of travel.

What do we need to bring?
Comfortable walking shoes, camera, a warm jumper, rain jacket, insect repellant, and a hat and gloves during our cooler months (October, November, April). 
 
Are there bathroom facilities on the bus?
Our bus does not have a toilet or wash basin, but we ensure comfort stops are taken as required, also toilet facilities are available in Te Anau, Milford Sound and on the cruise boat.

Are there any mosquitoes or sandflies?
Sandflies can sometimes be an issue, we recommend carrying insect repellant. Mosquitoes are not a problem.
